Rivendell is an Elven outpost in the western foothills of the Misty Mountains.

Geography

Rivendell is located in a hidden valley of the Misty Mountains, near to the Bruinen.

History

Rivendell was established by the Elrond in S.A. 1697 following the fall of Eregion.
