Derenost

Derenost "Fort of the oaks" is a garrision situates at Anórien between Lisclorn, Pelandros and Rammas Echor.

This fort was built by Aran Minalcar (Rómendacil II) as a part of his Anduin defense project, and as a western stretch of Andros-Pelandros. It was destroyed during Kinstrife and abandoned for long periods. Arandur Denethor I renewed the garrison and it's been occupied since. It shields Rammas from the Lisclorn-Andros gap.
