The Eastemnet (the 'East-Plain') is the plains of Rohan east of the river Entwash. It contains the Wold in the north, and borders the Emyn Muil to the east.
Summary
Eastemnet has a population of approximately 630. The wide, open plains are used by the Rohirrim to graze their herds. As such, Eastemnet does not have permanent settlements, its people having adopted a nomadic lifestyle.
Climate and Ecology
Eastemnet contains the following ecological zones:
M1 - West and central Pontic herb-rich grass steppes
M6 - Central Pontic herb-grass steppes
L2 - Sub-Mediterranean-subcontinental herb-grass steppes, locally meadow steppes
S25 - Tall sedge fens
Architecture
Aside from one small fort at the Entwade crossing, Eastemnet does not have permanent settlements. Its nomadic Rohirrim population live in tents. An example of one of these tents can be found on the right.
