Eryn Vorn ('Blackwood') is a forested cape in western Eriador. It is dominated by dark pine woodlands.
The region is one of the last surviving remnants of the great forest which once stretched across Eriador, before its destruction by the Númenóreans.
Eryn Vorn is inhabited by a secretive race of men, possibly related to the Drúedain, who live a semi-nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle.
