Dorwinion ('Young-land country') is a region in Rhovanion, on the north-west shore of the Sea of Rhûn.
Climate and ecology
The biome types of Dorwinion are as follows:
F164 - Caucasian Oriental beech forests, without evergreen understorey, partly alternating with oak-hornbeam forests
L3 - Moldavian-Ukrainian meadow steppes, alternating with hornbeam-pedunculate oak forests
L7 - West Caucasian meadow steppes alternating with scrub
M2 - Central Pontic herb-rich grass steppe
R3 - Brackish water tall reed vegetation, alternating with salt meadows
